BACK TO LIFE

There are moments in life when everything changes.

A relationship breaks down, a mental health crisis, the loss of a job, or perhaps a bereavement, and suddenly you might find yourself in a position where you need some support.

Right now, behind closed doors, people in our community are struggling quietly. Individuals are experiencing loneliness and anxiety, families are wondering how they will clothe and feed their children, and many are battling to make it through another week.

At The Lighthouse, we believe nobody should face hardship alone. Every day, across Woking, Barnsbury, Aldershot and Guildford, we open our doors to people who need more than just practical support. They need kindness, dignity, belonging, hope, and most of all, they need a chance to come back to life.

More people than ever are arriving at our doors exhausted, overwhelmed and struggling to cope. Families are making impossible choices. Individuals are battling loneliness and despair. Many people simply need someone to believe that their future can still be different.

We're asking for your help to bring people back to hope, back to community and back to life.

JO-DEE'S STORY: A LIFE TRANSFORMED

"I had arrived in the UK after breaking up with my partner, I was made homeless and I found out that I had to go on to dialysis for nine hours a day. Literally I just shattered, my whole life just fell to pieces. I came to The Lighthouse and started going to Nurture, I went to the Baking Table and got new clothes from Style Studio. I was lost, down and out, burnt out as many people are, and The Lighthouse just helped me to recover and come back to life."

"Before I found The Lighthouse, life was very dark and seemed very bleak. I didn't have a lot of hope for the future. What The Lighthouse offers is a real life line. The support I've received has been life changing. I've got a new life now.
