The Cosy Coffee House will be taking a summer break.
We will be closing on Friday 31st July, and will reopen on Monday 7th September. This gives our dedicated team of volunteers a well-earned rest.

The Cosy Coffee House is our social enterprise cafe at The Lighthouse in central Woking. Every penny from profits support the running of The Lighthouse.
The mission of The Lighthouse is to serve and empower, restoring hope. As part of this we have a 'pay it forward' option within The Cosy, where you're able to donate towards a 'button' coffee for those who can't afford one.

If you are a group of five or more and you would like to reserve our sharing table or business table please get in touch.
The Sharing Table is perfect for small meetings, it's free to book but do check availability with us. We can seat four-six comfortably.
The Business Table, seats up to eight people and is perfect for a more formal meeting.
If you have a larger group you'd like to bring to the Cosy, we may still be able to accommodate you - do just send us an email and we'll see what we can organise.

We offer private hire on Tuesday or Fridays and The Cosy can provide bespoke catering for all types of events.
The Lounge holds around 14 people and is a relaxed comfortable space.

The Cosy is staffed by an amazing team of volunteers who are passionate about building community, the work of The Lighthouse, and about great coffee!
There are different volunteer opportunities:
Core team full shift: Monday - Friday, 9.15am - 2.45pm
Core team half shift options: Monday - Friday, 9.15am - 12.30pm or 11.30am - 2.45pm.
We ask core team volunteers to make a regular commitment, once a week for the same day and time for a minimum period.
In return we provide barista training, commercial kitchen standards experience, promotional skills and working in a team. We also provide you with a drink and snack while you work.
