Our opening hours vary depending on the projects running. All projects are Term Time only. Below is a list of our current projects. Scroll down to find out more or to sign up for specific courses.

Current Projects (Term Time only)

• Open House – 10:30am -12pm on Mondays and Thursdays. Drop in for a drink and a chat. Everyone welcome! Support, signposting, money advice and a listening ear when you need it.

• Community Money Advice on Mondays during Open House. Practical, no-judgement support with budgeting, managing bills and debt. Email to book, or drop in and speak to us.

• Men Matter – 6.30pm–8pm on Tuesdays (sign-up preferred for catering but you can just drop in).

• Mums and Under 1s – 10.30am–12pm on Wednesdays. A friendly, supportive space for mums and carers with babies under one to meet and connect (drop-in).

• Community Choir - 1-2.30pm every Wednesday, starting on 10th June. Sign up to join us for this mixed voice choir. No audition required, just commitment to learn together and willingness to perform to other community groups. 

• Together over Tea – 2pm–3.30pm on the last Monday of each month. A friendly space for those who are grieving (drop-in).

Courses 

• When Dreams Change – A four-week course for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Please email guildford@the-lighthouse.info for details of next course running.

• The Bereavement Journey – you will gently be guided through the most common aspects of grief enabling you to process the implications for yourself. Please email guildford@the-lighthouse.info for details of next course running.

• CAP Life Skills Course  - A four week course designed to give you the confidence and decision-making skills needed to live on a low income. You can learn practical money-saving techniques, such as budgeting, cooking on a budget and making money go further.The next course starts on 5th Feb for 4 weeks - Please contact guildford@capuk.org to sign up.

• CAP Money Course – Please contact guildford@capuk.org to sign up for upcoming dates at The Lighthouse.

Additional Information

We are also a Warm Hub and continue to offer support to anyone in need of warmth or practical help - we still have lots of warm winter coats. please feel free to drop in and speak to us.

Please note that our toilets are located downstairs and, unfortunately, we do not have lift access. We apologise that our facilities are not fully accessible.
