Corporate Partnerships at The Lighthouse: A Taco Bell Case Study

When Gavin and the Taco Bell team first visited The Lighthouse in November 2024 to support our Christmas Kindness campaign with donations, they also brought energy, enthusiasm, and a real interest in our work. From the beginning it was clear that they shared our commitment to supporting the local community.

Their contribution helped us to provide families with practical essentials and small treats over Christmas. Projects across The Lighthouse, including Jigsaw for families, our hygiene bank, foodbank, and clothing studios, all depend on this kind of support. Corporate partnerships play a vital role in helping us continue to meet growing community needs.

As the relationship developed, we had the opportunity to visit Taco Bell’s Woking head office and explore ways to work together beyond one-off donations, building a partnership focused on longer-term impact.

In February 2026, the team returned to volunteer during an important moment for The Lighthouse: relocating to our new space. Led by Mik, team members rolled up their sleeves to help dismantle our existing site and move equipment and resources. Their willingness to get involved made a big difference during a major transition.

“Volunteering with The Lighthouse gave us a great opportunity to learn more about the incredible work you do for the local community and to contribute in a hands-on way. Working alongside your volunteers was genuinely inspiring, their energy, commitment and sense of purpose really stood out and made the day feel like a true team effort.”

“For us as a Taco Bell team, it was also a chance to step outside our usual roles, try new things and connect with one another in a completely different environment. The atmosphere, teamwork and warmth we experienced made us feel incredibly welcome and valued throughout the day.”

“Experiences like this align strongly with our Live Más culture and our values around community, collaboration and giving back. Supporting local initiatives like The Lighthouse allows us to live those values in a very real way, beyond our day-to-day roles, while also strengthening team connection and purpose.”

We’re incredibly grateful to Taco Bell and to all our corporate partners whose investment helps strengthen The Lighthouse and expand what we can offer to the Woking community. Together, these partnerships enable us to create lasting local impact.
